Our innovative and growing company is seeking candidates to join our team for a low voltage alarm/security technician! To join our team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications below.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair alarm/intrusion and fire systems.
- Install, troubleshoot and configure Access Control Systems.
- Installing and repairing CCTV & IP based Camera Systems & NVR’s.
- Readjust equipment, repair, or replace equipment and test for operation.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on systems.
- Run and terminate low voltage cable.
- Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions.
- Respond to customer service calls and perform scheduled maintenance calls.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electronic security installation, maintenance, or other related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds or more, climb ladders, pull wire.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents is preferred.
The starting wage in this ad is reflective of minimum wage - Pay is commiserate with experience and will be discussed during the job offer phase.
