We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our organization’s financial health and operational excellence. This pivotal role combines high-level financial stewardship with comprehensive operational management, ensuring sustainable growth, regulatory compliance, and innovative business development. Experience in the legal industry, specifically the personal injury industry is a PLUS
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including revenue management, budgeting, and fiscal management.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and industry-specific regulations.
- Lead risk analysis initiatives, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance, risk management frameworks, and regulatory reporting to safeguard organizational assets.
- Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, supply chain finance, and cost control measures to optimize liquidity.
- Drive strategic planning processes by developing financial projection models, conducting market analysis, and supporting business development efforts including mergers & acquisitions.
- Supervise finance teams responsible for financial statement interpretation, financial analysis, cost accounting, tax accounting, and payroll management.
- Cultivate a high-performance management environment through leadership development, supervision of finance and operations staff, and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Lead fundraising initiatives for business growth opportunities while ensuring compliance with financial policies and standards.
- Oversee expense management strategies and implement cost control measures to improve profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to shape corporate strategy, manage risks effectively, and ensure alignment across all operational functions.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in finance directorship roles with proven expertise in financial accounting, strategic management, and operational leadership within diverse industries.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations including SOX compliance, ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, COSO internal controls framework, IFRS standards, and governmental accounting practices.
- Demonstrated success in mergers & acquisitions activities along with experience in fundraising for business development initiatives.
- Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced financial modeling techniques to support forecasting analysis and decision-making processes.
- Exceptional skills in financial report writing and interpretation coupled with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in risk analysis, regulatory reporting requirements, treasury management, cost control strategies, and supply chain oversight.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teams; proven ability to manage large finance organizations while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable; MBA or equivalent preferred.

Pay: $111,468.16 - $150,000.00 per year
