About the Company:
Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.
CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD's), Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court and Washington Square. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

Purpose:
The purpose of the position is to correctly prepare food and menu items in accordance to company standards and guidelines.
Essential Duties:
- Follow menus and production schedule as posted. Prepare food by standardized recipe with optimum and consistent quality of appearance, texture, taste and temperature.
- Stock food supplies; seal, date and label correctly. Inform supervisor of sudden deficiencies in inventory.
- Prepare correct quantity of food with appropriate number of servings for assigned house and serve correct portion sizes following food textures, therapeutic diets and special meal card instructions.
- Supervise food service workers as directed.
- Ensure that Federal, State, County and company regulations are implemented and maintained. Correct facility deficiencies as needed.
Required Qualification:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must demonstrate the ability to lift unassisted at least thirty five (35) lbs.
Have or will attend professional food handler’s course for certification.
