THE ROLE
Working throughout the store, the Maintenance Helper Clerk is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented environment. This position plays an important role in supporting overall store appearance, safety standards, and the guest experience through consistent attention to detail and ensuring company standards are upheld. We are seeking dependable, service-minded individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.

Maintain cleanliness throughout the store by continuously circulating through departments to sweep, wipe surfaces, clean glass, and remove debris from floors and walkways.

Respond quickly to spills, breakage, and other safety or cleanliness concerns to ensure a safe shopping environment.

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break areas, and high-traffic touchpoints on a regular schedule.

Collect carts and return them to designated areas; maintain exterior cart corrals and entrances.

Support general interior and exterior upkeep of the store and surrounding grounds.

Assist with basic maintenance and upkeep of equipment, fixtures, and store presentation standards.

Provide courteous, helpful customer service, including helping guests find products or locating team members to assist as needed.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

One year of customer service experience strongly preferred.

Experience in cleaning, maintenance, and light industry-related repair preferred.

Understanding of basic health and sanitation requirements.

Knowledge and understanding of industry-related cleaning tools and solutions; MSDS experience preferred.

Demonstrates a high-level of self-motivation; takes initiative; problem solves

Exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Wage/salary range: $22.85 - $23.35
