Patient Services Representative
Pay: $18 per hour
Location: Bluffton, SC / Hilton Head Island, SC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Work Setting: Onsite
Dress Code: Scrubs or Business Professional
Job Summary
We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to support daily healthcare operations. This position is responsible for accurately recording patient demographics, insurance information, patient charges, and collections, as well as scheduling appointments and providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and have experience using EPIC/EMR systems.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and maintain patient demographic and insurance information
- Record patient charges and collections
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
- Verify and update patient information as needed
- Work within EPIC/EMR systems
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to patients
- Assist with general administrative and clerical duties
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling patient information
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
- Previous EPIC experience required
- OnBase experience heavily preferred
- Customer service experience
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Experience:
