NYC 2026-2027 Salary Positions for 10 month calendar:
OPTION 1: LIMITED OFFER : FULL TIME SALARY FOR 4 days SCHOOLS AND 1 day EVALS: $8500 per month for school year calendar and $1000 bonus after two months of employment. Opportunities to earn more afterschool and weekend hours!
OPTION 2: LIMITED OFFER: FULL TIME SALARY FOR SCHOOL AND HOME BASED OT: $8,000 per month for school year calendar and $1000 bonus after two months of employment. Opportunities to earn more afterschool and weekend hours!
OPTION 3: LIMITED OFFER FULL TIME SALARY FOR SCHOOL ONLY : $7500 per month for school year calendar and $1000 bonus after two months of employment. Opportunities to earn more afterschool and weekend hours!
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITIONS:
NYC Independent Contract Rates for School Year 2026-2027 for New Hires:
$85 per hour for home or school based OT sessions
$150 per NYCDOE OT eval
$280 per NYCDOE Assistive Tech Eval$280 per private OT eval$175 per Manhattan Success Academy Eval$200 per non Manhattan Success Academy Eval
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments tailored to pediatric patients, including evaluations of sensory processing, motor skills, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each child's unique needs, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and supporting developmental milestones.
- Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and effective communication regarding progress and goals.
- Provide direct therapy sessions focused on improving fine motor skills, gross motor coordination, sensory integration, and other areas relevant to the child's development.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist with specialization in pediatrics.
- New Grads welcome!
- Excellent client communication skills to engage children and collaborate effectively with families and educational teams.
