Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and motivated Rotary Knifing team member to join a growing production facility in Blaine, MN. This role involves preparing materials, assisting in the knifing process, and supporting daily production operations. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders to determine job requirements.
- Gather, organize, and prepare materials for production.
- Bend and shape metal as needed for rotary knife assembly.
- Secure metal into wooden components using hand tools and hammers.
- Move finished materials to designated areas for further processing or shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with team members.
- Basic English reading and communication skills.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Regular bending, reaching, and manual handling of materials.
