We are looking for people who have been Local Drivers, Route Drivers, Truck Drivers, Couriers, Pick Up Drivers, Delivery drivers - and if you have driven for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft or any other similar companies that is a plus; and we have a job waiting for you as we are hiring urgently and immediately. You will be trained in Braselton, GA, and moved over to the Norcross Terminal after you complete the training.
As a FedEx Package Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, delivering packages with a smile and ensuring customer satisfaction at every stop. Your role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence. You’ll navigate your route efficiently, handle packages with care, and provide exceptional service that keeps our customers coming back for more!
What you’ll do
- Drive a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver packages safely and on time.
- Load and unload packages with precision, ensuring they are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Follow established routes while being flexible to adapt to changes as needed.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability on the road.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline loading processes and improve efficiency.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary for heavy lifting tasks.
Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Clean driver license
- Drug screen, background check and physical
- No CDL required
- No equipment necessary
