The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service. This position involves mastering our ERP system, managing inbound calls and inquiries, ensuring accurate order processing, and proactively prospecting for new business opportunities. You'll support the Sales team with timely updates, conduct research, and act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations. This role offers the potential to grow into an Outside Sales position for those who demonstrate strong performance and initiative
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop a strong understanding of our ERP system and achieve proficiency in its use

Professionally manage inbound calls and resolve customer inquiries with a focus on delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction

Maintain data integrity by reviewing purchase orders and entering accurate information into the ERP platform

Drive revenue growth by aggressively prospecting, qualifying leads, and converting new business opportunities

Consistently achieve prospecting targets and accurately record all activities in the ERP system

As training progresses, demonstrate resourcefulness by performing targeted research on markets, customers, and competitors as needed, delivering actionable insights to support and strengthen sales strategies

Provide support by assisting in managing leads, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving customer issues promptly

Keep the Sales team informed on the status of quotes, orders, and other customer-related updates to ensure seamless communication

Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, including Sales, Project Management, Production, and Shipping, to ensure smooth communication and workflow

Perform additional job-related duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma (or equivalent), associate degree preferred

2-5 years of Customer Service experience in the industrial/manufacturing environment
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, or equivalent applications

Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor experience preferred)

Strong background in customer service with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and all levels of the organization

Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively while maintaining positive customer relationships

Self-motivated, able to work independently, and demonstrate initiative

High level of discretion and sensitivity to confidentiality requirements
