As a Locum MD/DO in Radiology, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care and the efficient operation of our healthcare partners.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and interpret results accurately

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Document patient information and imaging findings in medical records

Stay updated on advancements in radiological technology and practices

Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Provide guidance and support to junior staff and students as needed

Maintain effective communication with patients and their families regarding procedures and outcomes
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution

Current medical license to practice in the state of Kentucky

Experience in radiology with a focus on diagnostic imaging techniques

Prior experience in a locum tenens role is a plus
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 1-2 weeks per month
Daily Volume: ~14-16 procedures
80% IR, 20% DX
CT-guided and US-guided procedures
Will read CT and PF during downtime
Support Staff: Midlevels
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
