Role Overview
We are currently looking for a proficient Forklift Field Service Technician who possesses practical, hands-on expertise in the upkeep and repair of forklift machinery. Your primary focus will be to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions, execute regular maintenance tasks, and guarantee that all equipment functions reliably and securely while on-site at client locations.
Primary Duties

Identify, troubleshoot, and fix material handling equipment and forklifts while working in the field

Execute scheduled maintenance and safety checks to keep machinery in top condition

Swap out or mend hydraulic systems, transmissions, engines, electrical parts, and braking mechanisms

Analyze technical schematics, service manuals, and related documentation to guide repair efforts

Document all service activities and keep precise logs of completed repairs

Provide clear updates to clients regarding the status of their equipment and suggest necessary maintenance

Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following established safety protocols
Essential Requirements

Demonstrated professional background as a mechanic or technician specializing in forklifts

Comprehensive understanding of electric motors, internal combustion engines, electrical circuitry, and hydraulics

Capability to autonomously diagnose and rectify various electrical and mechanical problems

Possession of a current driver's license and the willingness to drive to various client sites

Fundamental digital literacy for the purpose of maintaining records and filing reports
