The Wash Bay Technician is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing company vehicles, equipment, and trailers to ensure they are in safe, presentable, and operational condition. This role supports fleet readiness by maintaining cleanliness standards and assisting with basic inspections and upkeep of company assets.

Wash and clean company vehicles, equipment, and trailers in accordance with company standards.

Operate pressure washers, cleaning agents, and other wash bay equipment safely and effectively.

Remove dirt, grease, oil, and debris from vehicles and equipment.

Perform basic visual inspections during cleaning and report any damage, leaks, or maintenance concerns.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay and surrounding work area.

Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Assist with fueling, staging, and preparing vehicles/equipment for field use as needed.

Follow all company safety policies and environmental regulations.

Dispose of waste materials in compliance with environmental guidelines.

Support shop or yard personnel with additional tasks as assigned.

Ability to operate pressure washing and cleaning equipment.

Basic mechanical awareness to identify visible issues.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Valid driver’s license is required.

Previous experience in a wash bay, detailing, or labor position preferred but not required

Work Environment: Work performed in field environments including construction sites, powerline projects, and industrial facilities. Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, extreme temperatures, noise, dust, and hazardous work areas.

Physical Activity: Requires ability to walk, stand, climb, and perform inspections for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, FR clothing, fall protection, etc.).

Work Schedule: Fulltime; may require overtime, shift work, weekends, and emergency callouts.

Travel: Travel to various job sites required.
