We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and hands-on Housekeeping Director to lead our environmental services team. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Our facility is committed to providing high-quality care in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, and we are looking for a leader who shares our dedication to excellence.
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Director or Supervisor in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sanitation standards
- Experience managing teams and departmental budgets
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends/holidays
- Oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations within the facility
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (including infection control standards)
- Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and protocols
- Manage, train, and mentor housekeeping staff
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with nursing and leadership teams to support resident care and satisfaction
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and waste
