You'll work on substantial litigation matters involving:
- Commercial contract disputes
- Business torts
- Corporate fiduciary disputes

- Mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation

What You'll Be Doing
- Independently manage commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and discovery responses
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare witnesses, experts, and clients for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial
- Handle court appearances
- Participate in settlement negotiations and dispositive motion practice
- Work closely with shareholders and partners on complex litigation strategy
- Mentor and assist more junior attorneys as appropriate
- Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness
What We're Looking For
This is not an entry-level litigation position.
Successful candidates typically possess:
- 5+ years of commercial litigation experience
- Texas Bar license in good standing
- Significant experience drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, and legal briefs
- Experience managing litigation matters with increasing independence
- Experience preparing for and participating in depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong client communication skills
Ideal candidates will have experience involving business disputes, contract litigation, insurance coverage matters, corporate disputes, or other sophisticated commercial litigation matters.
