Join a dedicated Emergency Department team in beautiful Craig, Colorado! We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience
- At least 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care experience preferred
- Active Colorado RN License or Compact RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS or ENPC Certification
- TNCC Certification
- STABLE Certification
- NRP Certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process.
- Prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
- Perform patient triage, treatment, evaluation, and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, transfers, and discharges.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to support staff.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental education programs.
Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,400.00 per week
