The role
You are the first voice a client hears and the first face they see. You keep the day running so our providers can focus on their clients, and you make people feel taken care of from the moment they walk in.
This is a real customer care position, not just a check-in desk. You'll own the schedule, manage communication across phone, text and email, and handle the back-end work that keeps a spa day from falling apart.
What you'll do day to day
- Greet and check in guests, and set the tone for their visit
- Answer phones, respond to texts and emails promptly and professionally
- Book, confirm, reschedule and manage the daily schedule across multiple providers
- Handle checkouts, retail sales and rebooking
- Manage the back end: confirmations, waitlists, cancellations, filling last-minute gaps
- Keep the front of house clean and stocked
- Laundry, towels, sheets and restocks
- Support providers so they can move from client to client without interruption
What we're looking for
- Experience in customer care, hospitality, retail or reception
- Strong professional communication — you write a clear text and email, and you're comfortable and warm on the phone
- Organized under pressure. A busy Saturday with a double-booked provider and a walk-in at the door doesn't rattle you
- Genuinely kind. We can teach the software; we can't teach warmth
- Weekend availability is required for both full-time and part-time roles
- Spa experience is a plus but absolutely not required
What we offer
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Weekly pay
- Generous discounts on spa services
- Free coffee at Grounds of Grace next door
- A small, supportive team where our providers pitch in on checkouts when it gets busy, and I'll jump on the desk myself if the day calls for it
Room to grow
This position genuinely goes somewhere. People often start with the basics — phones, booking, laundry — and grow into client emails, marketing, social content, photos and video, and inventory management. Pay goes up as responsibility does, and there's a real path toward management for the right person.
How far it goes depends on your capacity, your interest, and honestly whether you want it. Some people are happy right where they are, and that's completely fine.

Send a short note about yourself — you don't need a formal resume. Tell me what hours you're looking for and I'll be straight with you about whether we can make it work.
