Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Toast POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales through POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and fostering positive guest relations throughout their visit
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Toast POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and general beverage service to elevate guest experiences
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for billing accuracy and cash handling procedures
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain necessary sanitation training prior to employment
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving, bartending, bussing, or hosting is advantageous
