Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic part-time Sales Associate to join our rental and sales team. Our Rental & Sales department houses not only our rental equipment, but also our gas logs, outdoor power equipment and outdoor cooking products. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, will keep customer service as their main priority and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience.
Duties
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products or rental equipment that meets their needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and cash register efficiently for transactions.
- Ensure rental contract/agreements are filled out correctly.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, unloading and checking in inventory and keeping the sales floor clean and neat
- Clean returned rental equipment as needed
- Assemble grills & smokers for display and/or customers
General Information
- Hours for this job are as follows: (M) 7am-4pm, (TH) 7am-5pm, Every Other Friday 7am-5pm, (Sat) 7am-12pm
- Will be trained to be familiar with all products in the department
- Must be willing to work every Saturday from 7am-12pm.
- Forklift experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Job will require some heavy lifting
- Must have valid driver's license and have own transportation to and from work
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening and background check
- Pay is based on experience
