Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense Litigation
Mineola, NY | Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule Available
We are a well-established insurance defense litigation firm located in Mineola, NY, seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. Our firm handles a broad range of matters, including automobile litigation, general liability, premises liability, Labor Law, and medical malpractice.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution:
- Draft timely substantive reporting to insurance carriers, motions, and discovery demands/responses
- Attend court conferences, conduct depositions
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Work collaboratively with partners, other associate attorneys, and staff
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in New York State
- Excellent analytical, writing, and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage time effectively
- All experience levels welcome to apply (insurance defense experience preferred)
