InGenesis is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to work with our client. In this role, you will be responsible for packing, shipping, and receiving of all orders in accordance with seasonal pack out instructions outlined in the SOPs. You will also be responsible for providing internal and external customer service to help facilitate on-time deliveries and accurate invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day shipping, receiving, and packaging of pharmaceutical products as per the Standard Operating Procedures
- Printing labels/waybills, prepare products and invoice for shipping
- Check orders and waybills and ensure products being packed are accurate as per pack out instructions
- Able to perform tasks in multi-temperature environments
- Maintain a clean and safe shipping and receiving area in accordance with SOP and coordinate pick up/deliveries with different couriers where applicable
- Complete required paperwork for all courier/carrier shipments and make sure freights are ready for pick up at specified pickup window allocated
- Actively monitors on hand shipping materials and supplies as well as goods received in warehouse
- Inventory management including, but not limited to, receiving, and organizing delivered goods, ensuring quantity received matches the invoice and notifying the Manager/Supervisor of any discrepancies (Site Specific)
- Tracking shipments and communicating with couriers and clients on delivery issues (Site Specific)
- Assisting with shipment/delivery receival and escalating receival concerns or issues as required.
- Perform other duties, including administrative and/or dispensing tasks, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or previous work experience in a warehouse setting
- Previous experiences in a warehouse/ distribution setting handling of materials and lifting of weights is an asset
- Previous knowledge in pharmaceuticals is an asset
- At least 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced or assembly line type of environment is an asset
- Effective communication, teamwork, multitasking with strong attention to detail
- Excellent comprehensive skills and ability to learn new tasks
Physical Demands:
- This position requires considerable amount of physical work including, but not limited to, climbing, lifting, walking, stooping, standing for extended periods of time, and handling materials.
- Ability to lift/move up to 22 pounds independently as well as potentially greater weights in a team-lift environment
