- Track project progress and deliver regular status reports to senior leadership.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation.
Construction & Field Oversight
- Leverage trade background to evaluate contractor proposals, scopes of work, and field conditions.
- Conduct site walks, inspections, and punch lists to ensure work meets quality and code standards.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and as-builts for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards.
- Identify field-level risks and escalate or resolve issues proactively.
Operational Excellence
- Analyze workflows and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project and construction activities.
- Partner with operations teams to align project outcomes with day-to-day business needs.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as liaison between executive leadership, project teams, and external contractors.
- Facilitate communication between departments to resolve bottlenecks and maintain project alignment.
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships including performance, compliance, and contract adherence.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field — OR equivalent work experience.
- 2–5 years of project management experience, with hands-on background in general contracting or electrical work.
- Prior field experience as a GC, electrician, foreman, or superintendent strongly preferred.
- Proven track record managing construction or operational projects from initiation to closeout.
Skills & Competencies
