American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery unit requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care L&D experience and AWHONN/EFM-C certification.

13-week travel assignment in a Labor & Delivery unit
-
17-bed unit staffed with 1 charge RN, 5-6 RNs, and 1 OB scrub tech per shift
-
Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity
-
Night shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
-
Uses EFM (TOCCO, US), Doppler, and Novii equipment
-
Charts in Meditech/CPN EMR
-
Unit performs labor, C-section, PIT, magnesium drip, IA, ECV, and cerclage placement procedures
-
Active CO or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital L&D experience required
-
Required certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, and EFM-C or AWHONN (Intermediate or Advanced) or NCCEFM

Meditech EMR experience preferred

Willingness to precept preferred

CEFM and RNC-OB certifications preferred

No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Deliver labor and delivery nursing care including high-acuity procedures such as magnesium drip management and cerclage placement

Collaborate closely with a strong, communicative team of RNs, charge nurses, and OB scrub techs

Focus on providing an exceptional patient experience

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
