Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Lead Teachers or floaters. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with children through play, music, stories, and art and is familiar with Creative Curriculum, ASQs, and Early Achievers. Our goal is to create a fun, nurturing environment where children can build skills, develop positive behaviors, and build strong bonds.

Requirements (must have or be willing to obtain within the 90-day probation):
- 30-hour STARS Child Care Basics Training
- Current certification in Basic First Aid and Infant/Child CPR
- MAT (Medication Administration Training)
- HIV/Bloodborne Pathogens Training
- Food Handler’s Permit
- TB test clearance
- Successful completion of a full background check.
- Safe Sleep Training

Duties
- Provide care and supervision for a group in a classroom setting
- Be willing to be flexible around the needs of the center
- Work collaboratively with other teachers to develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum using Creative Curriculum
- Communicate regularly and effectively with management, parents, and co-workers
- Willing to learn or use a communication app
- Willing to work as a team and co-teacher effectively and encouragingly.
- Bring a positive outlook to the environment
Requirements
- At least a year (1) of experience as a child care teacher/caregiver OR
- Working on DCYF stackables OR
- AA/BA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field OR
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (can be used towards stackables)
- Ability to work effectively with families of diverse backgrounds, including single parents, grandparents as caregivers, co-parenting families, LGBTQ+ families, non-English speakers, teen parents, and families navigating sensitive circumstances.
Pay: $36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
