Veterinary Technician Part Time position for Physical Therapy/ Rehab department available at our small and friendly veterinary practice in Williston Park. We are in a great neighborhood, accessible to public transportation, with many opportunities for shopping & restaurants. We are a small business, non corporate practice with two doctors and practice traditional medicine, surgery, physical therapy and acupuncture.
This position is for our PHYSICAL THERAPY/ REHABILITATION department. It is a PART TIME position. You will be working solo or with the other physical therapy vet techs. You will be helping pets recover from surgery and injuries using modalities such as massage, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, hydrotherapy and exercises. We will train the right person and you will have opportunity to attend CE.
Our techs must be physically able to handle and lift animals of all sizes. PREFERENCE FOR SOMEONE WITH PRIOR EXPERIENCE AS A VETERINARY TECHNICIAN (LVT) or ENROLLED IN A VET TECH LVT PROGRAM. We are happy to accept students and will help you learn the skills you need! Salary is based on experience level and licensure.
Required hours may include:
TUES 9AM-2 PM, WEDNESDAY 9 AM TO 2 PM, SUNDAY 10 AM TO 5 PM
