Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a meaningful role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic and inclusive school district. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to serve a diverse student population of approximately 3,650 across two welcoming campuses. The caseload ranges from general education to moderate/severe needs, ensuring each day brings new challenges and the chance to truly make a difference.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior school-based SLP experience, or strong clinical background with school-aged children
- Comfortable providing services across a range of disabilities, including moderate/severe cases
- Ability to work effectively with elementary (TK-5) and high school (9-12) students
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to assigned caseload (up to 60 students)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to inform instructional planning
- Develop IEP goals and track student progress, ensuring compliance with district and state standards
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
- Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
