About the Role
As a Manufacturing Shop Supervisor, you will drive operational excellence by overseeing complex machining workflows and leading a high-performing technical team. You will leverage your expertise in CNC processes and production strategy to ensure that our output consistently meets rigorous quality and efficiency benchmarks.
Responsibilities-
Direct daily shop floor activities, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to maximize throughput.

Mentor and develop a skilled team of machinists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Drive the implementation of safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident work environment.

Analyze production metrics and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and execute process improvements that reduce lead times.

Collaborate with engineering departments to refine manufacturing processes and ensure seamless transition from 3D models to finished parts.

Oversee the maintenance and calibration of advanced CNC machinery, including multi-axis mills and lathes, to ensure peak operational reliability.

Manage ERP/MRP data integrity to support accurate production planning and inventory control.

5+ years of leadership experience in a precision machining environment.

Deep technical proficiency in CNC programming (Mastercam/Mazatrol) and operation of multi-axis VMC/HMC equipment.

Expertise in reading complex technical drawings and utilizing precision measurement tools like CMM.

Proven track record of managing operational risk and maintaining quality standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.

Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with CAD/CAM software like Solidworks.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.

Direct experience in aerospace manufacturing environments.

Advanced knowledge of CNC installation and complex 5-axis machining strategies.
