Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires effective communication skills and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction within a fast-paced environment, such as a hotel or restaurant setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and special requests.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including helping with food handling and guest services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the kitchen and dining spaces.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, offering assistance as needed.
- Support banquet operations by assisting with food setup and service during events.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help others, contributing to an excellent guest experience.
