Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen & Interior Designer to join our dynamic team at our East Northport, NY showroom (Suffolk County, Long Island). The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in high-end kitchen and bath designs, along with a passion for creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors to bring custom kitchen projects to life.
Compensation: Competitive base salary plus commission (based on total project value). Exact terms will be tailored individually based on experience and contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present creative, detailed kitchen designs that reflect client needs and lifestyle.
- Accurately translate initial concepts and measurements into detailed layouts efficiently.
- Manage the entire design process from consultation through final order placement.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and the sales team.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining positive client relationships throughout the project.
- Assist the sales department with customer account management and follow-ups.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years professional experience in high-end kitchen and bath design.
- Proficiency with design software, including 2020 Technologies, ProKitchen, 3D Max, and AutoCAD.
- Proven sales experience and ability to communicate effectively with upscale clientele.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Schedule:
- Full-time position, 5 days a week.
