HG Staffing is looking for a skilled Quality Control for a Manufacturer in Manchester, TN!
Primary Responsibilities:
· Continual safety focus, following all safety rules and regulations
· Planning, coordination, and implementation of activities to ensure quality in production and distribution, meeting our regulatory and company standards (Quality Control Plans, etc.) Coordinate, guide, and motivate manufacturing staff, fostering a positive work environment
· Reviews data obtained during all quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures
· Leads and prepares for quality and quality-related certifications and audits
· Ensure company quality records are current and accurate based on internal processes.
· Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data for improvement
· Prepares and presents technical and program information to the management team
· Maintains knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards
· Designs and/or implements quality assurance training programs and education to key personnel in conjunction with managers, including internal audits
· Oversees the investigative and resolution of customer complaints regarding quality issues
· Effectively collaborate with team members to meet quality and production goals
Additional Responsibilities:
· Cleans and maintains the work area and equipment, including tools
· Prepares work by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
· Ensure specifications by measuring completed components
· Resolves assembly quality problems to meet specifications by collaborating with management to obtain additional resources
· Keeps quality-related equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs
· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
· Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
· Documents actions by completing quality-related forms
Qualifications:
· Aptitude and ability to carry out all responsibilities of the job
· Good communication skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Physical fitness and strength to lift products, tools and equipment throughout processes
· 2+ years quality assurance
· Bachelor’s degree in related field or acceptable combination of experience and training
· Quality assurance certification(s) or acceptable combination of experience and training
· Must be able to read Blue Prints, design records and use calipers and gages.
Typical Schedules:
· 8-hour shifts (Day and Night shifts starting and ending work times may vary)
· Monday to Friday
· Overtime as needed to meet customer requirements
