Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet care to ensure a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guests or residents
- Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety standards in all cleaning activities
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance
- Adhere to scheduling routines to maximize efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments preferred
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning
- Prior experience working in hotels or industrial cleaning settings is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of custodial practices and safety regulations related to sanitation and hygiene
- Experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising housekeeping staff is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
