Up and Out, Inc. is a longstanding Portland agency whose mission is to provide community integrated services and residential options to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. We provide opportunities to move into and maintain individualized living situations in their own homes as valued, productive, unique and successful members of their community. We pride ourselves on providing a strong sense of community and camaraderie for our staff and the people we serve.
We are looking for fun, creative, and compassionate people to support the members of our program towards inclusion in the community and connecting with resources to build independence and wellbeing. We are looking for full time and part time positions that can cover day and overnight shifts for 2 women who live in their own home. They are part of our newly developed of Supported Living Program. Both need assistance with personal care and support to do the activities they love in their home and community, including walks, shopping, and social events with their friends. Main responsibilities include helping the roommates gain skills by participating in tasks, such as cooking, laundry, grocery shopping, and appointments.
We have both full time and part time postions available.
