Lyons Gaddis is seeking a full-time Paralegal or Legal Assistant for their Government Practice Group. Work for long-standing school and special district clients in a collaborative, team-based work environment with professional and congenial colleagues. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the legal profession, exceptional attention to detail, and an outstanding work ethic, as well as enjoy regular contact with our clients and learning new things everyday.
Position requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of legal industry experience or relevant office management role
- Excellent attention to detail on documents, emails, court filings, calendaring deadlines, proofreading, etc.
- Proficiency with MS Office (especially MS Word and Excel) and Adobe in a Windows environment
- Regular interaction with clients via the phone and email with excellence in customer service focus.
- Independently organize and prioritize time and tasks
- Complete assignments independently with minimal oversight
- Fast, accurate, keyboarding skills
- Regular work hours
- Familiarity with Tabs/Practice Master, Clio, and CCES/Pacer/File and Serve programs is a plus.
