Job Summary
Tip Top Roofing Company is seeking a dynamic, driven, and strategic Commercial Business Development Manager to help expand our commercial roofing presence throughout Central Florida. In this pivotal role, you will identify new business opportunities, develop long-term client relationships, and drive revenue growth across commercial reroofing, new construction, repair, and maintenance markets.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong hunter mentality, thrives in relationship-based selling environments, and is highly self-managed with a strong sense of accountability. Your expertise in prospecting, networking, negotiation, and customer relationship management will play a critical role in expanding our commercial division while maintaining the high standards and reputation Tip Top Roofing has built since 1972.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join one of Central Florida’s most established roofing contractors while contributing directly to the continued growth and success of the company.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new commercial roofing opportunities through networking, prospecting, relationship development, and strategic outreach efforts
- Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors, developers, building owners, municipalities, and facility managers throughout Central Florida
- Generate opportunities related to commercial reroofs, new construction, roof repairs, maintenance programs, and roof coating systems
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships using JobNimbus CRM software
- Lead negotiations related to contracts, pricing, and project opportunities while maximizing value for both the customer and the company
- Collaborate with estimating, operations, and marketing teams to support project development and customer acquisition efforts
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, sales activity tracking, and customer communication within JobNimbus
- Monitor market conditions, industry trends, competitor activity, and regional development opportunities to support strategic decision-making
- Represent Tip Top Roofing Company professionally at networking events, meetings, project walkthroughs, and industry functions
Experience
- Proven track record in commercial sales, business development, or account management within a competitive industry
- Commercial roofing industry experience preferred
- Strong skills in prospecting, negotiation, relationship building, and strategic planning
- Demonstrated ability to self-generate opportunities and manage a sales pipeline independently
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills
- Experience utilizing CRM software for customer management and sales tracking; JobNimbus experience is preferred
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with a focus on achieving measurable results
- Familiarity with marketing and business development strategies that support lead generation and long-term customer growth
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team-oriented, family-focused company culture
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
