Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces aligned with project specifications
- Set up and dismantle formwork and scaffolding using carpentry skills and hand tools, ensuring safety and precision
- Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprint specifications to strengthen concrete structures
- Operate power tools such as concrete mixers, saws, and cutting equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols on the construction site
- Conduct concrete cutting, surface finishing, caulking, stucco application, and masonry work as needed for diverse projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of commercial diesel truck/trailer repair experience
- Proficiency in diesel engine, brake, and electrical diagnostics
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and repair manuals
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR
- Own basic hand and air tools required
- Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA inspection requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs; work in confined spaces
- Chauffeur's license preferred
