THE OPPORTUNITY
Warehouse Operative roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Picking and packing retail and wholesale orders with a high level of care, accuracy and speed
- Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations and rotation policies, including the manual lifting and stacking of inventory weighing up to 50 lbs
- Load and unload distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight all errors and damages prior to completion
- Support with the receipt of our deliveries and ensure they are received into the system in a timely manner and delivered to the correct building location
- Maintain high standards of site housekeeping
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to team leader immediately
- Assist with stock accuracy counting on a regular basis
- Assist with stock organization and reorganization when necessary, which includes working on ladders and the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs directly overhead.
- Be a team player and assist other team members when necessary
- Be able to meet expectations set by management on a consistent basis
- Action any other elements to fulfill the operational needs of the business
