Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required
- At least one year of classroom experience in Special Education
- Current or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license (must provide documentation with application)
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and tailored interventions for students with diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Use data-driven strategies to monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that celebrates student growth
