Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and coordinate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events.
- Uphold all food handling, safety standards, and licensing regulations in accordance with local health codes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy shifts.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele positively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Experience with serving at large events like banquets or catering is a plus.
