Our client, a leading organization in the food industry, is seeking a Food Safety and Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team. As a FSQA Supervisor, you will be part of the Food Safety and Quality Assurance department supporting the plant operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Dillon, South Carolina
Pay Range:$82,000 - $90,000
What's the Job?
- Develop and implement programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and company food safety standards.
- Manage and maintain SSOP, HACCP, and other prerequisite programs efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct audits of all food safety records and provide timely feedback to management for continuous improvement.
- Maintain positive relationships with USDA and stay updated on relevant regulations concerning food safety programs.
- Train and document training for all plant associates regarding food safety protocols and procedures.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Poultry Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Operations Management.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in food safety or quality assurance roles.
- HACCP certification and knowledge of USDA regulations including GMP, SSOP, and HACCP.
- Experience with food safety audits and validation processes.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
