Safely operate a residential collection vehicle on assigned routes.

Service residential customers in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.

Complete daily route assignments and follow dispatcher instructions.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking fluids, tires, and safety equipment.

Operate hydraulic controls to safely collect and transport residential waste.

Maintain a strong focus on safety while working around traffic, pedestrians, and residential neighborhoods.

Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
-
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Monday through Friday

Occasional Saturdays as needed

Early morning start times

Physically demanding position requiring frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds or more.

Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, noise, dust, and other environmental conditions common to the waste industry.

Must be able to safely enter and exit the vehicle multiple times throughout the day.

Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement.

Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.

Waste industry experience preferred but not required.

Ability to complete vehicle inspections and identify basic mechanical concerns.

Strong safety record and customer service skills.
