Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors warmly at the front desk, creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Assists patients in completing paperwork, including consent forms, intake forms, and insurance documentation.
- Handle data entry tasks using computer skills and office management software such as Google Workspace.
- Maintain organized filing systems, including electronic and paper records, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
- Support administrative duties such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and proofreading documents for accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally in person, over the phone, over text message, and over email.
- Participates in training programs to stay updated on best practices in patient care and healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Proven office experience with strong clerical skills and familiarity with office management procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Strong phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of customer service experience.
- Experience in front desk/receptionist roles is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with front desk operations in healthcare settings. Experience in medical or dental clinics is an added bonus.
