Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are presentable and safe for employees and visitors. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling according to company policies.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or additional cleaning.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
