Small animal veterinary hospital in Citrus Heights, CA seeking an Associate Veterinarian.
This well established companion animal hospital is part of a respected, family owned group that has served the Greater Sacramento area for more than 50 years. The practice is equipped to provide almost all patient care in house, allowing veterinarians to follow cases from routine wellness through surgery and advanced diagnostics while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
The hospital is home to a collaborative team of three experienced veterinarians with interests spanning internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, cardiology, and preventative care. Doctors are supported by an experienced nursing team and have regular access to board certified specialists in surgery, cardiology, and radiology. All radiographs are reviewed by board certified radiologists, giving clinicians an additional level of support on complex cases.
Medicine here is centred on quality rather than volume. There are no weekends, no on call responsibilities, and no pressure to meet production targets. Doctors are encouraged to practice independently while having experienced colleagues available for discussion and mentorship whenever needed.
