Overview:
We are a growing local insurance agency looking for a motivated Door Knocker / Community Engagement Representative to help generate new business opportunities through local outreach.
This role focuses on starting conversations, identifying potential clients, and creating appointment opportunities for our office team. No insurance experience or licensing is required.
This is a part-time, field-based position with flexible scheduling and performance-based earning potential.
Schedule:
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Flexible daytime hours (weather dependent)
- Local travel required (assigned neighborhoods and business areas)
Compensation:
- Hourly pay (base depending on experience)
- Performance bonuses per qualified appointment set
- Additional bonus opportunities when agency monthly goals are met
- Growth opportunity into higher-level field or sales roles as agency expands
Responsibilities:
- Door-to-door outreach in assigned local areas (residential + small business)
- Brief, professional conversations with homeowners and business owners
- Identify potential insurance needs (no quoting at the door)
- Collect basic contact information for follow-up
- Schedule or trigger appointments for the office/sales team
- Maintain simple daily tracking of contacts and results
What You Are NOT Responsible For:
- No selling insurance at the door
- No quoting policies
- No underwriting or policy explanations
- No closing deals in the field
