Ceci Brothers Inc. is a premier landscape company serving some of Fairfield County's finest residential properties. We are seeking an experienced Horticulturist / Landscape Account Manager who is passionate about plants, takes pride in exceptional customer service, and enjoys managing beautiful landscapes to the highest standards.
This position combines horticultural expertise with client relationship management. The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of high-end residential properties, work directly with homeowners, our field crews, and the owner of Ceci Brothers and ensure every property consistently exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high-end residential landscape maintenance accounts
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify horticultural needs
- Develop seasonal maintenance plans and enhancement recommendations
- Meet with clients to discuss landscape improvements and answer questions
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Prepare proposals for landscape enhancements, seasonal color, tree and shrub plantings, irrigation improvements, and other services
- Coordinate with maintenance crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Monitor plant health and diagnose insect, disease, nutrient, drainage, and irrigation issues
- Recommend appropriate treatment plans and corrective actions
- Assist with quality control across all assigned properties
- Maintain detailed property notes, schedules, and client communications
Qualifications
- Experience in Landscape Management or willingness to learn
- Background knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials, turf, and ornamental plant care
- Experience identifying plant diseases
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple properties and projects
- Valid driver's license
