We are looking for an experienced truck driver to deliver oils and solvents chemicals to customers. Delivery areas include Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse areas.
Education - High School or Equivalent
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL w/ Hazmat Endorsement.
- Able to do heavy lifting 35-75 pounds, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting.
- Fork Truck Experience
Responsibilities
- Perform Vehicle Condition Reports (VCR), reporting any issues immediately. Keep truck neat and clean.
- Help load and unload truck at beginning and end of shift.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Courteous and professional interaction with customers and vendors.
- Unload products at customer's location ( this could be a pump off from totes to customer's tanks, drums, pails, or cases of product).
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
Skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Possess a clean safety and driving record
- Reliable/Punctual
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Safely operate hand & electric pallet jack / fork truck
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
- Valid truck driving license
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Good organization / Communication skills
- Basic Computer/Math skills

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
