You will work closely with teams to improve efficiency, support production goals, and expand technical capabilities across the shop. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CNC programs and macros for machining equipment
- Create and manage CAD computer aided design and CAM computer aided manufacturing data and documentation
- Support machine setup, tool selection, and fixture design for production processes
- Train machine operators and help improve technical knowledge across the team
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve machining operations
- Investigate production issues and implement solutions to improve performance and quality
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to maintain equipment and meet standards
Qualifications
- Experience with CNC programming, G code, and machining operations
- Familiarity with CAD and CAM
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing GD&T
- Experience working with machining equipment, tools, and fixtures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Degree in a related, technical field preferred
- 5 years of machine shop experience required
