Duties
- Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission
- Safely load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Drive routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
- Deliver freight promptly to designated locations, ensuring proper handling of specialized cargo such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials when applicable
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles, especially with tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty vehicles
- Familiarity with route driving across urban and rural areas
- Hands-on experience with load & unload procedures for various cargo types
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight transportation including tanker handling or refrigerated trailer operations
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently
- Previous experience with forklift operation or handling specialized equipment is a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for different truck types (e.g., tanker, flatbed)

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week
