Are you outgoing, people-focused, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in marketing, events, and nonprofit outreach?
We’re looking for a Event Assistant to support live nonprofit campaigns at community events and approved retail locations throughout the Nashville area.
This is an in-person, entry-level position where you’ll help set up campaign displays, engage with members of the community, represent nonprofit partners, and support fundraising initiatives.
No digital marketing, SEO, social media management, or online advertising experience is required. We provide paid training and ongoing coaching.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, wants experience in marketing and events, and thrives in an energetic team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and organization of nonprofit marketing and fundraising events
- Represent nonprofit partners professionally at community and retail locations
- Engage with members of the public in a friendly, confident, and professional manner
- Educate individuals about nonprofit missions, programs, and current initiatives
- Answer questions and help create a positive experience for potential supporters
- Introduce interested individuals to available donor programs and fundraising opportunities
- Assist supporters with secure donor enrollment when they choose to participate
- Help maintain campaign materials, displays, signage, and event equipment
- Track basic campaign activity and results
- Work alongside team members and campaign leaders to achieve event goals
- Participate in ongoing training in communication, fundraising, marketing, and leadership
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with and meeting new people
- Positive, professional, and dependable attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Organized and able to follow campaign procedures
- Willingness to learn and receive coaching
- Customer service, hospitality, retail, sales, events, or fundraising experience is helpful but not required
- Comfortable working in an active, face-to-face environment
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply

Pay: $700.00 - $1,500.00 per week
