A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Team Leader to help expand operations, develop client relationships, and lead a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities

Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of engineering professionals.

Provide leadership and oversight for municipal infrastructure and private development projects.

Build and strengthen client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.

Lead proposal development, responses to RFPs, and contract negotiations.

Serve as a technical resource for project management, quality assurance, and staff development.

Collaborate with senior leadership to execute strategic growth initiatives and expand market presence.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Iowa or ability to obtain.

8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, including project management and/or business development responsibilities.

Experience with municipal infrastructure, land development, water resources, transportation, permitting, and construction projects.

Strong client-facing, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to grow teams, manage projects, and develop business opportunities.
