Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and guest clothing with care and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care procedures to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas.
- Follow established safety protocols during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or damage.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly.
- Support custodial tasks as needed to uphold high standards of sanitation and hospitality excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or hospitality environments preferred; hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift heavy items, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Familiarity with custodial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and laundry machines is advantageous.
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is beneficial but not required.
